Feb. 21--WESTLAKE -- They weren't required to attend Westlake Academy's annual enrollment lottery Tuesday evening, but seven parents just had to know immediately where their children stood on a waiting list that already has more than 900 names. Officials drew the names of 127 children from a bingo-style hopper to determine their order on the waiting list for next school year's kindergarten class at the state's only municipally operated charter school. "I was too anxious to wait for a letter," said Keller resident Paige Bowman, whose daughter Jenna Leonard, 4, came in at No. 67.
