Feb. 20--Pam McCutcheon does two things at work:

1. She runs the Clutter Cutter, a private business.

2. She gives away stuff and time.

Officials at the Wichita Children's Home say that because McCutcheon donated stuff and time, Brittany Shipman and nearly two dozen other young people who've had bad luck in life are living happier (and less cluttered) in the small rooms they call home.

McCutcheon started a business in 2003, the Clutter Cutter, a professional personal organizing company. For people living in clutter at home or at work, the Clutter Cutter can deal with it, organizing anything from clothes in the closet to files in the cabinets. They help build shelves; they offer advice on how to organize them.

"Our goal is a better-functioning life," McCutcheon said. "And we're willing to help some people who cannot pay."
