THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS I wish I could have at the push of a button-like, um, world peace. OK, no, I made that up. I wish I could tie my shoes at the push of a button. An Automatic Super! Article Machine sounds good, too. The number one thing I wish I did have, though, is a button that makes cheese. Yes, thatd be cool.
But for now, I guess I have to be content with the things I do have at the push of buttonlike doorbells and Internet por tions. Another thing is this awesome site I came across one day: its a site for the Motorola CRZR where a push of a button generates crazy, reflective artwork you can use as your desktop wallpaper.
The CRZR site, which is at http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motokrzr/experienceK1m/, asks you to drag cool pieces of artwork, together with the Motorola CRZR phone, into a work area. It lets you set a variety of parametersfrom how big the phones should be to how many reflections you want in your artwork. What comes out, based on your input, is a moving kaleidoscope, which youre free to stop and capture at any time. Its also perfect for staring at when youre tripping.
Anyway, what users basically do with the site is use it to create artwork, and thats something we do all the timewith Paint or Photoshop. But whats different about the process on the Moto CRZR site is that it randomizes your input so that the generated artwork is never the same. In other words, the art you generate isnt static like a painting is; its dynamic, meaning it constantly changes.
