Feb. 17--Should Ohio require all 11- and 12-year-old girls to be vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer?

Or should their parents be able to make that decision on their own? These are questions the Ohio General Assembly is expected to tackle in the coming weeks and months. Senate Health Committee Chairman Kevin Coughlin (R-Cuyahoga Falls) said several colleagues have indicated they intend to introduce legislation concerning vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV) for girls entering the sixth grade.
