Bearish onslaught took Karachi stock market in full control on Wednesday and the KSE-100 index tumbled 188.77 points, or 1.62 percent, closing at 11,454.76 points. The KSE-30 index also shed 267.50 points, closing at 14,524.22 points.

The market started off on a positive note and after offering resistance the KSE-100 index hit 11,768.60 points intra-day high. However, selling pressure across the board pushed the index in the negative zone to 11,285.84 points intra-day low.
