2007 Audi S8

Date in fleet: Jan. 18-Feb. 2 As-tested price: $110,920 Drivetrain: 5.2-liter V10; awd, six-speed automatic Output: 450 hp @ 7000 rpm, 398 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm Curb weight: 4586 lbs Fuel Economy (EPA/AW): 17/13.4 mpg

JEWETT: This thing left the factory in full Darth Vader mode-black paint job, wheels and interior trim. The only exceptions are the gray-colored headliner and the silver-painted plastic in the center of the instrument panel. So this Dakota's got that menacing, stealthy look on the outside. But it's

RAYNAL: This weekend had each kid doing a different sporting activity, seemingly at the same time, so there was a lot of hauling of people and equipment going on. I couldn't have asked for a better car in which to do that. The Outlook's ride is good, the power is decent, the transmission is smooth

WONG: The Trak Pak is Roush's attempt at a Mustang that's a capable track warrior but also can be used every day. With adjustable shocks and camber plates, owners can dial in stiff setups at the track; everything can get softened up for drives home without discomfort. The huge, supercharged V8

MORRISON: What a wonderful car. Stunning looks, especially the front and rear views, and a ball to put through a workout. With this powertrain and inherent "Audiness it reminds me of the S4 but up a notch. The chassis is incredibly rigid, the interior is beautiful and the cockpit features one of

Byline: BOB GRITZINGER GRITZINGER: Good enough is no longer good enough, and this Lucerne is just good enough. In other words, for what it aims to be-a coddling luxury cruiser with plenty of interior and trunk room in a smartly styled package-it's fine. But for anyone looking for more-as the

HART: I was surprised at how much I liked this little Land Rover. It has a clean design inside and out, and the driving experience was quite nice. The seats are comfortable, and even with most of the roof taken up by glass, the A/C kept the cabin really cool. The straight-six is strong, with enough
