Feb. 14--Virginia consumers affected by phone-book errors in Verizon Communications Inc.'s White Pages can start filing with state regulators for their share of the company's $2 million settlement. The State Corporation Commission said yesterday that it had accepted the terms of Verizon's settlement, which the company and SCC staff had proposed in September after directory blunders from 2004 through 2006. Residential customers could receive as much as $550 per directory in which there was an error or omission, while business customers could get as much as $8,000.
