Feb. 14--The sad saga of Ted Haggard just begs for our attention.
In November, Haggard, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, lost that post and his alpha role at the mega-New Life Church in Colorado after it was revealed he'd visited a male prostitute and had purchased meth.
The association intones on its website: "Homosexual activity, like adulterous relationships, is clearly condemned in the Scriptures." Haggard himself has actively campaigned against gay marriage.
