This was not the closest-ever finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, but the run to the checkered flag was one of the most exciting in the race's history. The top three cars were nose-to-tail with just three hours left, and at one time or another over the next 60 minutes, each looked likely to take the spoils. The challengers to longtime leaders Scott Pruett, Juan Pablo Montoya and Salvador Duran eventually fell short, allowing Chip Ganassi Racing to take a second-straight win at the endurance classic.
