WONG: This SE trim does a lot to perk up an otherwise boring exterior. The ground effects give the Camry a more hunkered-down look, while the 17-inch wheels add a dash of sportiness to the equation. The sport suspension does give the car competent handling, but there is no mistaking this for an outright sports sedan.
I was disappointed with the brakes as they felt on the mushy side. But overall, the Camry proves to be a solid all-around package and should continue to dominate its class. At least now it offers some visual appeal to buyers tiring of the same old bland sedan.
FLORADAY: When I drove this car a few months ago, I thought it was as boring as an accountant's closet. Then it hit me: The Camry is perfect for all the Ned Flanders of the world.
