After two nights earlier this week (Monday and Wednesday), featuring more than six hours of one-on-one interviews with five semifinalists, the Lowell High football selection committee has pared an original field of 16 candidates down to two finalists for the Red Raiders vacant head coaching job. The successor to former coach Scott Boyle -- who chose boys basketball over football when asked to step away from one of those major sports several months ago -- will be either current Dracut High head man Patrick Murphy or longtime city sports fixture Al Pare, who has head coaching experience at Medford High…
