Feb. 2--John Quinones isn't the first name that comes to mind when you think of major players along Central Florida's partisan turf wars.

But to dismiss him as minority window dressing is myopic, if not absurd. "John Q" is back in business in Central Florida, taking a political leap of faith back to his community. Quinones stood among friends and constituents in a news conference at the Robert Guevara Community Center in Buenaventura Lakes on Thursday afternoon, to tell them that he was coming home to run for an Osceola County Commission seat.
