Grant's, the blended Scotch whisky owned by William Grant & Sons, is looking for an advertising agency to handle its above-the-line account.
It is in the first stages of meeting agencies, and is looking to produce a long list of six, before cutting it down to three for a final shoot-out.
The whisky brand does not have an agency of record. The last TV work created for Grant's was for its Cask Reserves, which was created by McCann Erickson in 2002.
Its most recent work was a specialist promotional campaign that played on Capital Radio last year. It was handled by the company's media agency, John Ayling & Associates.
