Chesapeake's two-month pay dispute at its Field Packaging Bradford site has finally been resolved after a pay deal was agreed.

Industrial action stemmed from a disagreement over new pay and conditions in November. Stoppages were taking place every Wednesday with a ban on overtime. That action ended last week as both sides resumed talks (PrintWeek, 25 January).

According to Amicus national officer Vernon Robson, there was a chance that 10 staff dismissed from the packaging plant would be reinstated. They left after refusing to sign the new terms (PrintWeek, 21 December).
