Tramways a model for Port Elizabeth city plans THE Mandela Bay Development Agency's (MBDA'S) plans to attract national developers to Port Elizabeth were given a major boost last week with its call for the redevelopment of a historic municipal-owned property. The property the old Tramways building is at the entrance to Port Elizabeth's central business district and the mouth of the Lower Baakens River Valley, and forms part of the agency's plans to revitalise the central business district and Port Elizabeth harbour.
