Player fatigue 'will threaten World Cup' Packed fixture list could erode form Rugby Correspondent LEADING South African sports scientist Tim Noakes warned yesterday that a packed fixture list for the Springbok players in the coming months could erode the team's Rugby World Cup hopes.

The Springbok players start off their 2007 season this weekend with the Super 14 series, followed almost immediately by domestic tours against England and Samoa, the Tri-Nations series and then the World Cup a gruelling schedule by anyone's standards.
