Vietnam: Insurer predicts $100m in revenues for 2007.

Section: Regional News - The second largest insurer in Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City Insurance Company, is forecasting revenues of VND1.6 trillion (US$100 million) in 2007.

That would represent a 6 per cent increase over 2006 figures, according to the company, also known as Bao Minh. After tax profits have been pegged at VND110 billion ($6.88 million).

Revenues from re-insurance plans are predicted to account for VND100 billion ($6.25 million).

To reach the 2007 targets, the company plans to complete its corporate regulations and start training courses for junior and senior managers.
