Vietnam: Oil and gas group strives to become spearhead economic sector.

Section: Regional News - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, on Jan. 29, handed over the decision on transforming Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation into the National Oil and Gas Group, stressing that the business must be the spearhead industry of the country.
For the group's 2007 plan, the PM urged the executive committee to synchronously carry out exploration, exploitation and processing strategies in addition to distribution of oil and gas products and services across the country as well as abroad.
