Section: General News - Thailand's former opposition Democrat Party has proposed a 7-prong strategy to develop both the new Suvarnabhumi and former Don Muang international airports, linked by a hi-speed electric train route, to the Transport Ministry for consideration.

Deputy party leader Alongkorn Palabutr revealed Monday that he had submitted a strategic plan to Transport Minister Admiral Thira Haocharoen because his party viewed the ministry must act quickly to resolve the future of Suvarnabhumi Airport by next month.
