Supplied in 10-lead, 3 x 3 mm DFN package, LTC3805 helps reduce size and complexity of flyback power supplies. Current mode PWM controller contains all features necessary to design single-ended isolated and non-isolated flyback converters rated up to 25 W. With 40 [micro]A start-up current, IC allows use of high-value input resistor and low-value capacitor. It will sustain operation from 4-72 V after start up, and operating frequency is selectable from 70-700 kHz.
