THERES been dynamic growth in the Philippines call center and medical transcription business in recent times, but Grace Dimaranan, new president of the Animation Council of the Philippines, a non-stock, non-profit organization that helps promote the local animation industry, believes these two sunrise ventures are bound to have company very soon. After slipping from the ranks in the past years, the local animation industry has regained its footing and getting ready to join the outsourcing giants, she predicts.
