Jan. 29--EXETER -- Some students at Wilson Middle School in Exeter have not traveled beyond the borders of nearby cities like Visalia or Fresno.

School music director Nora Allstedt wants to change that.

She is planning to take 120 band and choir students to Disneyland. But it won't be the kind of field trip where students simply stroll through the adventure park.

The sixth- through eighth-graders were invited to take part in "You're Instrumental!" -- which is part of the Disney Magic Music Days workshop.

The May trip will allow students to work with a Disney music director, practice and record a selection…
