FIVE out of seven suspects who were being held in connection with the Stanbic bank robbery have been released on Police bond.

The suspects, most of them bank staff, were being held in different Police stations over the robbery of over sh700m.

They were released on Monday. The Police said preliminary investigations did not link them to the robbery.

"We felt that they were not much involved, so we had to release them," Police spokesman Edward Ochom said yesterday.

But as the five walked to their freedom, two other suspects were transferred to the Violent Crime Crack …
