Protesters Raid Food Courts At World Social Forum.

A group of protesters at the World Social Forum in Kasarani yesterday raided two food courts run by five-star hotels.

They went on a free-for-all eating spree as bewildered guests and staff members watched in disbelief.

The group, numbering about 40, first stormed the 70-seater food court run by the Windsor Golf and Country Club, where they ejected staff members from serving stations and scrambled for the delicacies.

A meal costs Sh400 while beverages cost between Sh100 and Sh200 and the hotel sells between 2,000 and 2,500 plates a day.
