A GOOD idea which has to be studied thoroughly.

This was the response by Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) president Mohd Ilyas Zainol Abidin on the suggestion that lifeguards should be stationed at all swimming pools with a depth of 1.5m and more.

Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor had suggested this on Tuesday when commenting on the drowning of nine-year-old Sri Lankan, Mohamed Muhath Ariff, at the Swiss Garden Hotel pool in Jalan Pudu on Sunday.
