HAVING claimed leadership in the global digital TV market at the recently concluded International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Samsung Electronics showed off its new lineup of liquid crystal display (LCD), plasma and digital light processing (DLP) high-definition televisions (HDTVs). PLASMA HDTV OPTIONS. At the event, Samsung unveiled its 50in (the HPT5064) and 42in (the HPT4264) plasma HDTVs that offer improved picture technology and advanced features such as the proprietary Ultra FilterBright technology, which features an enhanced panel and filter to minimise image glare and maximise contrast.
