... nice-looking lapels, really sharp, almost military style, and a more severe cut, which is what I asked for months ago and which they finally got right. I'm usually against sending any job overseas, but let me tell you: getting a simple quasi-military uniform for me to wear on the show, and for some of my devoted followers to wear as well, has been a royal pain in the you-know-what. I should have just sent my drawings to China and been done with it. "Look," I said, "I need this uniform for the great people of this country who are getting the shaft from the corporations and the elites and who need a regular, all-American stand-up guy in their corner to serve as President and, you know, maybe more." The tailors just sort of looked at me. Idiots! We might have to nationalize that whole industry at some point. Still, when I tried it on I have to say I was pleased with the results. It's going to look great in the studio, marching along with my followers, speaking from balconies, etc. What they're working on now is a kind of peaked cap with a "Lou Dobbs" insignia, which I know they'll try to keep me from wearing on the air--executives! To hell with all of them!--but which I think will look great on Dobbs's Army, especially with the starburst lapel pins I'm designing ...
