Jan. 13--Area residents will have several chances over the next week to honor the life and work of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Saturday, the United Methodist Church system has a district service for King at Clair Memorial United Methodist Church at 5544 Ames Ave. The Rev. Emanuel Cleaver III from Kansas City, Mo., is the guest speaker.
