Jan. 11--The joggers and picnickers at Arch Creek Park saw beehives -- one taller than a human -- growing in the trunks of oak trees. Thousands of buzzing, swarming bees hovered nearby inside the county-owned park in North Miami. Officials closed the park Monday and were waiting for the right weather conditions to attack and destroy the bee colony.
