Don't bash the buzz

Web 2.0 was one of the most prominent topics up for debate at this year's Online Information conference, and trying to define just what Web 2.0 is cropped up almost as often. The rest of the blog community have similar difficulties but one site we liked this month was Passionate, Creating Passionate Users -- a blog run by authors from the Heads First publishing stable -- in particular, Kathy Sierra's thoughts on why Web 2.0 is more than a buzzword.
Her open and jovial post probes what our collective problem is with the term. Is it because we think Web 2.0 doesn't represent anything? Or are we annoyed by the idea of the web being given a version number?
