Jan. 7--Larry Logan has done it again.
For the second time in less than a month, a major educational grant has been awarded to Logan and Phillip O. Berry Academy for innovative programs.
This time, Logan and fellow Berry Academy teacher Vincent Mariano have won a $5,000 Student Achievement Grant from the National Educators Association Foundation for the Improvement of Education.
"This grant was hard to get," said Logan, a technology/engineering teacher at Berry Academy who won a $2,000 Bright Ideas grant from the N.C. Electric Cooperatives a few weeks ago.
