WILSON: So Chrysler has its own SUV. I guess that's the point; keep "luxury'' buyers from jumping to Lincoln's Navigator or the Cadillac? Maybe. If you love the Hemi or you're just a "Chrysler guy,'' it's an alternative.
The interior is old school Detroit. It's not poorly fitted or made of lousy materials, but the aesthetics are traditional Detroit luxury. Again, the appeal seems to be to Pentastar loyalists, not cross-shoppers.
For once, the price seems right. I was expecting it to be another $10,000 and was all prepared to whine about what it doesn't have, most notably a rearview camera (it's easy to imagine backing over something or someone).
