T. MOHAN, 33 HEAVY machinery dealer T. Mohan has dedicated every Wednesday as "Social Work Day" for the past five years. And he's never missed a single appointment at his office in Puchong, Selangor, especially with underprivileged people from his community.

As head of the Malaysia Indian Congress' Social Welfare Bureau, the 33-year-old handles a wide range of problems such as giving unclaimed bodies their last rites, handling birth certificate and identity card problems, adopting abandoned children and locating missing persons.
