In one of the most significant changes in its history, the Official Charts Company has axed all restrictions on digital sales for the weekly rundown

Welcome to a new world. As The Official UK Charts Company began compiling next week's charts a matter of days ago, it did so under brand new conditions.
For the first time, every digital download being sold is counting towards the singles chart. The download no longer needs to be reflected in a physical version, it simply has to be a track, for sale, via the dozens of digital stores which the OCC polls.
