Dec. 23--A special-education paraeducator who worked at Maize Central Elementary School has been arrested and charged with five counts of indecent liberties with a child. Patrick P.L. Naputi, 18, remained in Sedgwick County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond Friday. He worked for the Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative No. 618 and was assigned to help a special-education student in a regular fourth-grade classroom at Maize Central, district spokeswoman Karen McDermott said.
