Statesman News Service KENDRAPARA, Dec. 19: Social and financial insecurity coupled with domestic trouble drove quite a few people from this part of Orissa to end their lives. In what is apparently being perceived as a disturbing trend, spate of suicides invariably in all parts of this coastal district in the past years is fast emerging as a major social malady. If the police records of the past three years are any indication, on an average, 197 persons end their lives a year under the jurisdiction of seven police stations in the district.
