AT least 350 police officers have been fired by the police administration.

Daily Monitor has learnt that the affected officers have been ordered to vacate the barracks within 10 days and return to their home districts.

According to a confidential police communication to all barracks and signed by the OC Human Resources Benjamin Namanya on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kale Kayihura, the targets included mainly police officers on suspension or facing interdiction.
