ProQuest is boosting nineteenth century research resources with the digitisation of all that century's British House of Commons parliamentary papers by the end of 2005.
The digitised resource will become part of ProQuest's nineteenth century short title catalogue (NSTC), which holds more than 1.2 million records from eight contributing libraries in the UK and US.
Dan Burnstone, senior publisher of the nineteenth century programme, expects all major UK libraries to buy into the resource, replacing their microfilm versions of the papers.
