Michael Rubin is right on point in "An Arrow in Our Quiver" (August 28). What I don't understand is this: If former presidents have prohibited assassinations via a series of executive orders, why doesn't President Bush reverse that damage by an executive order of his own that would authorize the assassination of political and military leaders engaged in terrorism? After all, he does claim to be our anti-terrorist ...
