The Christian belief in the Spirit may be a useful, orienting source from which to draw when considering the varied and rapidly changing situations of workers today. For example, Christians hold that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. A concern for the body in itself and not simply as a paid element in the process of production or service could be emphasized through a development of this teaching. Likewise the tradition of Scripture, learning, and devotion has constantly associated the Spirit with unifying love.
