Section: Business News - Better understanding of European Union regulations on organic products would help Thai exporters boost market share, says Patrick Deboyser, a diplomat with the European Commission in Thailand, the Bangkok Post reports.

''European consumers want products which meet high environmental and quality standards,'' he told a seminar last week. ''As a result there is a growing demand for organic food.

''Better understanding of the EU's control systems for organic agriculture will help meet this demand and further strengthen Thailand's competitiveness in European markets.'' EU organic food regulations …
