Sadly, the acrimony that has characterised Islamabad-Kabul relations for sometime, shows no sign of abating. Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, who went on a three-day visit to Kabul on Wednesday, returned home without achieving any success in the border security talks centered on the issue of holding an Afghan "Jirga" as per a recent agreement reached in Washington between President General Pervez Musharraf and Hamid Karzai at a dinner hosted by President George W Bush.
