THE leader of the Lords Resistance Army Rebels Joseph Kony has said he will hold direct peace talks with President Yoweri Museveni in a bid to end the northern conflict.

He said the need to hold direct talks with Mr Museveni follows demands and advice from his mother, Norah Anek Oting, who is currently with him at his hideout in Ri-Kwangba.

"I am now going to hold direct talks with President Museveni. My mother has advised me to do so. So I will now talk to him directly," Kony reportedly told a meeting on Sunday a few kilometres from Ri-Kwangba according to Mega FM …
