ROEL RAMIREZ IS SETTING his sights on the biggest stage in his sport after achieving a Philippine gymnastics record in the Doha Asian Games recently.

The countrys top male gymnast is back in training just a day after planing back from the Asiad to prepare for a couple of tournaments next year.

Im happy with my performance, but Im looking forward to a bigger event next year, said Ramirez, who landed sixth overall in the vault of artistic gymnastics where at least 80 participants from 20 countries competed.
