Though Pakistan have lost to Japan (3-2) and Korea (0-1) in the ongoing 15th Asian Games soccer in Doha, football experts in the country are happy over the improvement in the standard of the game. They believe that the 18-day event, which will conclude on December 15, will be a step towards building the team for the seventh SAFF championship 2007 and Second AFC Challenge Cup 2008

Pakistan's display against Japan on November 29 and against Korea on December 3 indicated the team's collective efforts and marked improvement in tackling and getting the ball.
