Mvelaphanda, Afripalm look for BEE deals with Angloplat Consortium will inject R1,1bn in cash Resources Editor DIVERSIFIED minerals investor Mvelaphanda Resources and its new black investors, Afripalm Resources, will be participating together in a future empowerment transaction with Anglo Platinum and its parent, Anglo American.

The parties announced yesterday that the Afripalm consortium would inject R1,1bn in cash and new investment opportunities into Mvela Resources.

Afripalm is headed by former Anglo American SA CEO Lazarus Zim.
