Nairobi court was yesterday urged to convict a man accused of killing President Kibaki's relative.

State counsel Tabitha Ouya told trial judge Muga Apondi that the prosecution had proved beyond reasonable doubt a case of murder against Mr James Love Mwangongo.

Mr Mwangongo is accused of the murder of Ms Stella Njeri Kibaki on February 18 2005 at Kimathi Estate, Nairobi.

"All the facts considered in totality point to nothing else but that it is the accused who attacked Ms Stella Njeri Kibaki and caused her death," Ms Ouya submitted.
