* A captivating fragrance is an essential element of any Cosmo girl's bag of beauty tricks. But the key to sporting a scent that is truly memorable is to find one that enhances your degree of outgoingness. "Scent makes a bigger impression if it matches your persona," says perfumer Virginia Bonofiglio, adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. "When an outgoing person wears a scent that makes a bold impact, the people around her are clued in to her personality sooner than they would be otherwise. The same goes for a quieter, relaxed person who wears a subtle scent--she'll start emitting a serene vibe the second she enters a room," Bonofiglio explains.
