Hunza plans to venture abroad for steady income.

HUNZA Properties Bhd, a property developer with projects mainly in northern Malaysia, plans to expand into the Asian region in the near future to seek projects that can provide recurring income.

Hunza is also poised to report better profit numbers in its current year to June 30 2007, said its executive chairman Datuk Khor Teng Tong.

The firm made a net profit of RM19.8 million on the back of a turnover of RM117.3 million in 2006. This could almost double in 2007, Standard & Poor's said in a research report.
