FORMER labour minister Zoe Bakoko Bakoru and three others yesterday failed to appear before the Chief Magistrates Court because according to their respective lawyers, "their clients were too ill to appear for the session".

Bakoko, former National Social Security Fund (NSSF) managing director Leonard Mpuuma and businessman James Isabirye a.k.a Mugoya are implicated in the Nsimbe Housing Estate scam. Mugoya's lawyers applied for the stay of the case, citing a petition he filed in the Constitutional Court to challenge the IGG action.
